Core Philosophy: From Curing to Healing The central thesis is that working on the Annamaya Kośa (the physical body) is the gateway to working on everything. True health is not just "curing" a symptom but "healing"—a holistic realignment of the five layers of existence to achieve coherence. The goal: align mind, body, and spirit to remove blockages and "traces of trauma" stored at the neurocellular level. The path: moving from Pathogenesis (the creation of disease) to Salutogenesis (the creation of health) by letting go of toxicity in food, mind, and life events. Pain in the body travels to the brain, becomes psychology, and eventually manifests as autoimmune or neurocellular abnormalities.

I. The Five-Layer Intervention (Pancha Kośa)

Each individual has a unique starting point. Whether fixing obesity to help depression or fixing the mind to help the body, the layers remain interconnected.

1. Annamaya Kośa (The Physical/Food Sheath)

Status: Reflections of ailments, weight, and reactions to food.

Action: "No sugar, eat less, lose weight."

Practices: Clean eating (prevent diabetes), walking after every meal, yoga, hiking, and specific foods like quinoa.

2. Prāṇamaya Kośa (The Vital Energy Sheath)

Status: The link between the physical and the mental; awareness moves stagnant energy.

Action: Maintain healthy physiology and vital life force.

Practices: Controlling breath, rhythmic breathing, and positive affirmations.

3. Manomaya Kośa (The Mental Sheath)

Status: The messenger; contains emotions and perceptions.

Action: Controlling the mind so it doesn't control you. "What makes you weak makes you strong."

Practices: Reducing social media/gossip, Mantra, Svādhyāya, and detachment from the "stories" that cause insomnia.

4. Vijñānamaya Kośa (The Wisdom/Intuition Sheath)

Status: The "mind beyond the mind"; the seat of intuition and ethics.

Action: Using wisdom to remove long-term stress and epigenetic traces of trauma.

Practices: Meditation to become the "witness," Yoga Sutras, and long-term adherence to Yamas and Niyamas.

5. Ānandamaya Kośa (The Bliss Body)

Status: The deepest layer; perfection and true nature.

Action: Discipline over a long period to experience glimpses of pure joy (Samādhi).

Practices: Consistent spiritual work and "detached attachment."

II. Living the Blueprint: Yamas & Niyamas

These ethical codes are the "long-term software" that prevents mental clutter and "stories" from arising.

The Yamas (Social Ethics)

  • Ahiṃsā (Non-violence): Courage to speak on panels/hackathons; "No interference" (separation of concerns).
  • Satya (Truth): Being real rather than "nice"; honoring authentic connections.
  • Aparigraha (Non-attachment): Giving away excess things; detaching from excess projects.

The Niyamas (Personal Observances)

  • Śauca (Cleanliness): Reducing clutter from life (sofa repair, nice dining table); clean eating (no sweets/meat).
  • Tapas (Discipline): Small meals (half full); no eating between meals.
  • Īśvara Praṇidhāna (Surrender): Surrendering to the universe to prevent being an "overworked slave" to one's own ego or work.
  • Svādhyāya (Self-Study): Applied to your specific Adhikāra (competencies) like Startups, UX, Yoga, and sports.

III. Summary Synthesis: Hacking the System

"There is peace in every heart, but we need to access it."

To treat a condition like insomnia:

  • Annamaya: Relax the body through asanas (temporary fix).
  • Manomaya: Calm the mind through Prāṇāyāma and meditation.
  • Prāṇamaya: Remove "energetic noise" (blue light, social media).
  • Vijñānamaya: Use Śauca (clean living) and Aparigraha (detachment) to stop the mind from creating the stories that prevent sleep.
